“Hero” to “Zero” - a series of workshops
Living modern lives, we become extremely good at multi-tasking. We celebrate our ability to achieve more and more. We tax our senses, our mind, our body and our heart. We push ourselves to the limit and we celebrate breaking boundaries. We become so focussed on getting somewhere that we forget to pay attention to where we are. We are very outwardly focussed and neglect our internal world. Then suddenly we drop, we crash or we burnout. This cycle is natural and expected. What makes the difference is how we move between these two ends of the spectrum. In these three workshops, we will work through movements and practices that help you find your optimal rhythm and path to manage these transitions in your life. Whether you feel you need help slowing down, or if you need a push to get going, these workshops will be a fun, interactive and accessible way to explore how you move between Hero and Zero.
“A smooth landing” In this class, we will move through different dynamic sequences to clear stagnation, stress and tiredness, preparing the body to genuinely rest. The second half of the class will be still and restorative, where we take our time to observe how we individually respond to the invitation to slow down, to rest, to be silent.
